Privacy notice
How I look after your details
This notice explains what happens to the information you share through this website. KT Consulting is run by Kelly Tsanova, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, who is responsible for your data. If you have a question about it, email kelly [at] ktconsulting.co.
What I collect
If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, organisation, the topic and deadline you choose, and your message. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in your email. The site has no accounts and sets no cookies. It counts visits anonymously with GoatCounter, which records the page viewed, the referring site, browser type and country, but never stores your IP address or anything that identifies you.
Why I use it
I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if we decide to work together, to prepare a proposal and contract. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract. I never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) passes contact form messages on to my inbox.
- Namecheap Private Email hosts my mailbox, where enquiries are stored.
- GitHub Pages hosts this website and, like any web host, records visitors' IP addresses for security.
- GoatCounter (goatcounter.com) provides the anonymous visit counts.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. They protect personal data under their own terms, including safeguards for international transfers.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for up to two years, then delete them. If you become a client, I keep project and invoicing records for six years, as UK tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how I use it. Email me and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
